Calvin uses a photojournalistic approach combined with an unobtrusive style that is natural and puts the viewer right in the heat of action. His specialities are in commercial portrait, sports and event photography.
With a background in Mass Communication, he joined Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) as a photojournalist at The New Paper where he learnt to work in a fast paced newsroom environment and was trained to perform under pressure.
After leaving SPH in 2011, he has worked on various projects as a contract photographer covering events for the Central Singapore Community Development Council and Ministry of National Development. His other clients include: Rolls Royce, Microsoft, Google and Holiday Inn.
